I think that B.O. described more the qualities of perseverance as in “goal”,ambition with persistence of action & achiement! Hope is like being in the middle of the desert and “HOPE” for rain, as in MIRACLE! When you reach that level where hoping (for an outcome) is your only “salvation”, you then have NO CONTROL over your situation…It’s only when you’re trying your best at managing your circumstances in any given situation that you can afford to “Hope for the best”,cause you’re doing your part. For my friend, “YOU HAVEN’T FAILED UNTIL YOU QUIT OR GIVE UP!” and that quote is from me….
